Official IBPS & Bank Recruitment Upload Guidelines (2026)

Every year, millions of candidates apply for IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, SBI PO, SBI Clerk, and RBI Assistant. Bank application forms are notoriously strict: uploading an incorrectly compressed photograph, a blurry signature, or an oversized left thumb impression results in immediate rejection at document verification.

The Four Mandatory Uploads for Banking Exams

  1. Passport Photograph (20 KB – 50 KB): Dimensions: 4.5 cm × 3.5 cm (200 × 230 pixels). Clear white or light-coloured background. Both ears must be visible, no red-eye, no caps or dark glasses.
  2. Candidate Signature (10 KB – 20 KB): Dimensions: 140 × 60 pixels. Must be signed with a black ink pen on white paper. Capital letter signatures are NOT accepted.
  3. Left Thumb Impression (20 KB – 50 KB): Dimensions: 240 × 240 pixels (3 cm × 3 cm). Blue or black ink on clean white paper.
  4. Hand Written Declaration (50 KB – 100 KB): Dimensions: 800 × 400 pixels (10 cm × 5 cm). Must be written in candidate's own handwriting in English with black ink.
